This is what happened to me after playing tennis for half an hour in New Zealand without applying suncream.
The trouble with playing sport in the likes of the lethal NZ sun (I’d be burnt after just 10 minutes exposure) is that suncream comes off when you wipe off sweat.
This was the was a solution in the 60’s.
Players swore by it. And it worked.
Sadly, it was taken off the market after a short period for being thought to be carcinogenic. It was badly missed. I wish there were an equivalent today.
